Isleton is 5 miles north of Rio Vista and 10 miles south of Walnut Grove on the Sacramento River.

Isleton is bringing back the annual “Crawdad Festival ” this year on the 17th and 18th of June. It has always been held on Father’s Day.

Isleton was founded in 1874 by Josiah Poole. The area has been flooded many times, the last time being 1972.
