Well after 4 years of heaven and hell, I can say, the journey to Australia is over. I made it to Walnut Grove on Thursday only to find out my slip wasn’t available. It was my fault as I told Karen at Dagmar’s Landing, that I would be here on September 1st., but couldn’t get here until the 2nd. Being Labor Day weekend, she put someone else in my slip. Fortunately, we got a side tie on the Walnut Grove City dock. Once again Jim Wilson was able to crew for me. Thanks Jim.
I celebrated a little too much at Tony’s last night and I’m paying for it today. Once I get a motor for my Dinghy, I will be exploring the Delta. I’m sure I will stir up some noteworthy events to keep Footloosefred.com.going.
